No Doubt to reunite

Singer Gwen Stefani is excited about reuniting with No Doubt to record a new album, and says it'll be their best yet.

Although the Rich Girl singer has enjoyed a hugely successful solo career, she's happy to be returning to her roots and thinks that time spent apart from her bandmates has helped get their creative juices flowing again. Gwen, who 37 and has a baby son Kingston with husband Gavin Rossdale, explained, "I think it could be one of our greatest records because we've been starved of each other for a few years." The album should be released in 2008.

Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba Pictures

Jessica Marie Alba (born April 28, 1981) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in Dark Angel, Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue.

Jessica Alba Early life
According to Wikipedia, Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California to Mark Alba (who is of Mexican descent), and Cathy Jensen (who has French and Danish ancestry). Her maternal grandfather was a Marine noncom for 30 years, serving in the Pacific during WWII, and later as Asst. Drum Major for the United States Marine Band. Alba was raised in an Air Force family, along with her brother, Joshua Alba, and her grandparents until she was 17 years old. Her father's Air Force career took the family to Biloxi, Mississippi, and Del Rio, Texas, before they settled back in California. Alba's early life was marked by a multitude of physical maladies; she suffered collapsed lungs twice, had pneumonia 4 to 5 times a year, a burst appendix, a cyst on her tonsils, and asthma. She has also acknowledged suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder during childhood. This served to isolate her from other children at school because, as she claims, she was in the hospital so often that no one knew her well enough to befriend her. Her health improved, however, when her family moved toCalifornia.
Alba had expressed interest in acting since the age of five. She took her first acting class at age twelve, and an acting agent signed her nine months later.

Jessica Alba Career
Alba's first appearance on film was a small role in the 1994 feature Camp Nowhere as Gail. She was originally hired for two weeks but her role turned into a two month job when the actress in one of the prominent roles dropped out.

Young Alba appeared in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney; she was later featured in several independent films. She branched out into TV in 1994 with a recurring role as the insufferable young snob, Jessica, in three episodes of the Nickelodeon comedy series The Secret World of Alex Mack. She then performed the role of Maya in the first two seasons of the TV series Flipper. Under the tutelage of her lifeguard mother, Alba learned to swim before she could walk, and she was a PADI-certified scuba diver, skills which were put to use on the show, which was filmed in Australia.

In 1998, she appeared as Melissa Hauer in a first-season episode of the Steven Bochco crime-drama Brooklyn South, as Leanne in two episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 and as Layla in an episode of The Love Boat: The Next Wave. In 1999, she appeared in the Randy Quaid comedy feature P.U.N.K.S..

After graduating from high school, Alba studied acting with William H. Macy and his wife, Felicity Huffman, at the Atlantic Theater Company, which was developed by Macy and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and film director, David Mamet.
Alba rose to greater prominence in Hollywood in 1999 after appearing as a member of a snobby high school clique in the Drew Barrymore romantic comedy Never Been Kissed, and as the female lead in the 1999 comedy-horror film Idle Hands, opposite James D. Roberts and Devon Sawa. Her big break came when writer/director James Cameron picked Alba from a pool of 1,200 candidates for the role of the genetically-engineered super-soldier, Max Guevara, on the Fox sci-fi TV series Dark Angel. Co-created by Cameron, Alba was the star in the series which ran for two seasons before being canceled in 2002. Since then her most notable roles have been as an aspiring dancer/choreographer in Honey, exotic dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City and as the classic Marvel Comics character Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four. Jessica went on to host the MTV Movie Awards 2006 and performed sketches spoofing the movies King Kong, Mission Impossible 3, and The Da Vinci Code.

Playboy magazine named Alba among its 25 Sexiest Celebrities, and the Sex Star of the Year in its March 2006 issue, on whose cover she appeared. Alba was involved in litigation against Playboy for its use of her image (from a promotional shot for Into the Blue) without her consent, which she contends gave the appearance that she was featured in the issue in a "nude pictorial". However, she later dropped the lawsuit after receiving a personal apology from Playboy owner Hugh Hefner who agreed to make donations to two charities that Alba has supported.

Also, Maxim Magazine placed Jessica on the number 2 spot of their 100 hottest women in 2006, after Eva Longoria.
Apparently, Alba fears being typecast as a sex kitten based on the bulk of parts offered to her.[3] "Somehow, I don't think this is happening to Natalie Portman," laments Alba. In the interview, Alba says she wants to be taken seriously as an actress but believes she needs to do movies that she would otherwise not be interested in to build her career, stating that eventually she hopes to be more selective in her film projects.

Jessica Alba Personal life
Alba was temporarily engaged to her Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly. In January 2005, she began dating Cash Warren, a director's assistant on Fantastic Four, whom she met during filming. Regarding children, Alba said, "I'm really girly when it comes to kids. I've been surrounded by kids my whole life because I'm the oldest of 15 cousins — I've been changing diapers since I was six. I want to have a couple, for sure".

In 2005, prior to the birth of her brother's child, Alba said she was starting a children's clothing line: "About four of my girlfriends have babies so they have no time for me. I figure if I can do baby clothes maybe they'll have more time to hang out!"
Alba has revealed that she envisions a much older man as her ideal partner, making references to Morgan Freeman, Sean Connery, Robert Redford, and Michael Caine. "I have this thing for older men. They've been around and know so much." She has a tattoo of a daisy with a ladybird on the back of her neck, the Sanskrit symbol for lotus flower, "padma", on her wrist, and a lower back tattoo of a bow.

Her brother Joshua appeared with her in the first season finale episode of Dark Angel titled "And Jesus Brought a Casserole".

Jessica Alba Religion
In her adolescence, Alba became a born-again Christian, but left the church "'when older men would hit on me, and my youth pastor said it was because I was wearing provocative clothing, when I wasn't. It just made me feel like if I was in any way desirable to the opposite sex that it was my fault, and it made me ashamed of my body and being a woman.' She also ]disagrees with the church's condemnations of premarital sex and homosexuality, and was bothered by the lack of strong female role models in the Bible. ' it certainly wasn't how I was going to live my life.'"

As the daughter of conservative parents, Alba, whose grandparents did not allow her to wear a bathing suit around the house, maintains a no-nudity clause in her contract, though she has claimed she had been open to the possibility of appearing nude in Sin City. She remarked of a GQ shoot in which she was scantily clad: "They didn't want me to wear the granny panties, but I said, 'If I'm gonna be topless I need to wear granny panties".

Alba was given the option to appear naked by the film's directors, Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez but declined the offer saying, "I don't do nudity. I just don't. Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won't get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety."

Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer and occasional actress Shakira

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is known simply as Shakira (Arabic: Woman full of grace.), She was born in February 2, 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is a ten-time Grammy, fourteen Billboard Music Awards, four World Music Awards and ALMA Award winning Colombia singer and she a songwriter, Instrumentalist, record producer, actress and dancer who has been a major figure in the pop music scene of Latin America since the mid-1990's.

According to Wikipedia, In 2001, she broke through into the English speaking market with the release of her first album in that language, highest-selling Colombian artist of all time, having sold almost fifty million albums worldwide. She is also the only artist from that country to reach the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK singles Chart.

In 2001, upon the success of ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones?, Shakira began working on a crossover album to English. Collaborating with Gloria Estefan, she wrote and recorded English versions of the tracks from ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones?. However, she later decided against using translations of older songs for the album and worked for over a year on new material for the album. The result was Laundry Service. Although it was created with the intent of selling to an English language market, the rock and Spanish dance-influenced album also featured four Spanish songs, including "Que Me Quedes Tú" (I Hope You Stay With Me). Some critics claimed that Shakira's English skills were too weak for her to write in it, but Laundry Service was a success, with more than 13 million sales worldwide, yielding the worldwide hit "Whenever, Wherever" and singles "Underneath Your Clothes" (a Canadian number-one), "Te Dejo Madrid" (I Leave You Madrid), "Objection (Tango)", and "The One". The album and its singles helped to establish Shakira's musical presence in the mainstream North American market.

In 2002, Shakira also released her Spanish greatest hits volume Grandes éxitos. A DVD and ten-track compilation album, called Live & Off the Record, was also released in 2004, reaching sales of 3 million CDs worldwide, and commemorating Shakira's world tour, the Tour of the Mongoose.
In September 2002, Shakira won the now-defunct International Viewer's Choice Award at the MTV Video Music Awards with "Suerte". In October of that year, she won 5 MTV Video Music Awards Latin America for Best Female Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Artist—North (Region), Video of the Year (for Suerte), and Artist of the Year. At Aerosmith's MTV Icon in 2002, Shakira performed "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)". Also in 2002, Shakira joined the likes of Celine Dion, Anastacia, Cher and The Dixie Chicks for VH1 Divas Live Las Vegas.

As of July 30, 2006 "Hips Don't Lie" was her most recent number one, and consequently, the last ever song played on the legendary British programme Top of the Pops, seeing the track jump back from number three to the number one spot again, after spending seven weeks on the chart. Shakira was the most nominated artist of the year for the MTV Video Music Awards '06. Her seven nominations were for "Hips Don't Lie", including Video of the Year and Best Female Video. She won only one award for Choreography. Shakira also performed "Hips Don't Lie" to the dance moves of popular Indian choreographer Farah Khan. The award show was held on August 31, 2006 in Radio City Music Hall.

Kirsten Dunst at the premiere of Spider-Man 3 in New Pictures

Kirsten Caroline Dunst (born April 30, 1982) is a Golden Globe-nominated American actress, known for her roles in Interview with the Vampire, The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette, and Bring It On, as well as Mary Jane Watson in the Spider-Man film series.

Her Early life
Dunst was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to Inez and Klaus Dunst, who are separated. Her father, a German medical services executive from Hamburg, remained in New Jersey but now lives in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, a Swedish former art gallery owner, also moved to California. Dunst has a younger brother, Christian.

Dunst attended the Ranney School in New Jersey, and graduated in 2000 from Notre Dame High School in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Her Career
Dunst got her start as a child fashion model at the age of three in television commercials. She was signed with Ford Models and Elite Model Management. In a 1988 episode of Saturday Night Live, she played the role of President George H. W. Bush's granddaughter, in a sketch in which Dana Carvey acted as President Bush. In 1989, Dunst moved to the big screen with New York Stories. Soon after, she landed a small part in The Bonfire of the Vanities as Tom Hanks' daughter. Dunst also did the voice of Kiki in the 1989 anime film Kiki's Delivery Service. In 1993, Dunst played Hedril in the seventh season episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation called "Dark Page". She also had a recurring role as a child prostitute, Charlie Chiemingo, on ER.

Her feature film breakthrough came in Interview with the Vampire, a 1994 film based on Anne Rice's novel. The movie featured a scene in which Dunst, then-aged eleven, received her first kiss from Brad Pitt, who was 29. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination, the MTV Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and the Saturn Award for Best Young Actress. In 1995 (and again in 2002), she was named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People.

Dunst was also offered the role of Angela in the 1999 Academy Award-winning film American Beauty, but turned it down because she did not want to appear in the film's suggestive sexual scenes or kiss co-star Kevin Spacey. The same year, she had the role of troubled adolescent Lux Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's independent film The Virgin Suicides.

In 2000, she starred in Bring it On, one of her more widely-recognized roles.

At the 2002 Mar de Plata Film Festival, Dunst won the Best Actress Silver Ombú for her performance as Charlie Chaplin's love interest Marion Davies in Peter Bogdanovich's The Cat's Meow.

At the 2006 Cannes Film Festival Marie Antoinette, premiered and was released in North America on October 20, 2006. In the film, her second with director Sofia Coppola, Dunst plays the title character and uses an American accent in the role. Dunst stated in an interview in 2006 while promoting Marie Antoinette that she wants to take a break from appearing in films to study and pursue art.

Dunst is slated to portray peace activist Marla Ruzicka in Sweet Relief scripted by Lorene Scafaria for Warner Independent Pictures in 2009. Dunst also reprises her role of Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 3, which was first released May 1, 2007. Dunst initially signed on to appear in three Spider-Man films, and has said that she would not appear in a fourth film unless director Sam Raimi returned to direct.

In another project, she is rumored to play Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry in director Michel Gondry's upcoming biopic about the band. This would not be Dunst's first foray into music; she made her singing debut in the 2001 film Get Over It, performing two songs written by Marc Shaiman. Previously had appeared in the music video for Savage Garden's "I Knew I Loved You". She also lent her musical voice to the end credits of The Cat's Meow by singing the old standard, "After You've Gone." In Spider-Man 3, she sings two songs as part of her role as Mary Jane Watson, one in MJ's Broadway debut and one as a singing waitress in a jazz club.

Her Personal life
After briefly dating her longtime friend, playwright Jeff Smeenge, she started dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal in September 2002, after meeting him through his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal (her Mona Lisa Smile co-star). They officially broke up in July 2004 but remained off and on until December 2005. They adopted a German Shepherd dog from a Los Angeles dog shelter and named him Atticus, after Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. She was recently seen with British rocker Johnny Borrell at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Borrell, the frontman of Razorlight, commented on their relationship, saying, "I'm not hiding anything. We met in Los Angeles. We were hanging out at South by Southwest and we've been hanging out ever since."

As of April 9, 2007, Dunst admitted that she has tried marijuana and other illegal drugs. Dunst claims that, "I've never been a major smoker, but I think America's view on weed is ridiculous. I mean - are you kidding me? If everyone smoked weed, the world would be a better place. I'm not talking about being stoned all day, though. I think if it's not used properly, it can hamper your creativity and close you up inside."
