Britney Spears Fashionable Night Out

Britney Spears Friday night out with her Dad.

Britney, in a black dress and sun-kissed blonde hair, told PEOPLE she's doing "good" at designer pal Christian Audigier's 50th birthday party at L.A.'s Petersen Automotive Museum.

Britney, 26, hung with two girlfriends in a roped-off VIP area at Audigier's blowout gala. Fergie, Snoop Dogg, Pamela Anderson and – surprise! – Michael Jackson also made appearances.

Jamie Spears joined his daughter, sitting on a couch about five feet away with his head resting on his hands.

Britney stayed about an hour and a half, smoking cigarettes on an outside patio, nodding her head to a live performance from Macy Gray, and abstaining from alcohol. When she left for the evening, her father joined her.

"I am friends with Britney," Audigier told PEOPLE before the party. "She was at my office, I believe, three weeks ago. She got some presents for Jamie-Lynn and herself too. She got a ton of T-shirts, a ton of caps. She loved it."

Spears left the party before Jackson, clad in a shiny blue shirt, came onstage to wish Audigier happy birthday.

Jamie Spears' full-time job is now working for his daughter as conservator of her estate, court papers show.

The pop star returned home from a Costa Rican vacation at Mel Gibson's house earlier this week.

Britney Spears's Father Working for Full Time

Britney Spears's father Jamie quit his catering job to dedicate himself full-time to overseeing the pop star's affairs, court papers show.

As a result, Jamie Spears was given $10,000 in back pay to cover the first month of his co-conservatorship of her estate, which started Feb. 1, according to the documents. He was awarded a $2,500 weekly salary beginning in March.

"The responsibilities he has assumed as conservator ... have required (his) full-time attention," says the request for "replacement compensation." "As a result, he has been unable to continue to his prior employment and he has lost his source of income which he needs to pay his living expenses."

Since Jamie Spears took over his daughter's personal and professional affairs, the singer has secured expanded visitation with her two sons, who live with Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline.

American Idol 2008 Winner DaVid Cook Biography

David Roland Cook (born December 20, 1982) is an American rock singer and songwriter. On May 21, 2008, he was declared the winner of the seventh season of the reality television show American Idol. His single, "The Time of My Life," is on sale on iTunes and shot too.

Early life
Cook was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. His parents are Beth (née Frye) and Stan Cook. Cook's younger brother, Andrew, is an elementary education major at the University of Central Missouri, and his older brother, Adam, lives in Terre Haute, Indiana with his wife and children. Cook's parents divorced during his childhood; his mother remarried and now goes by Beth Foraker, and his father relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Cook's interest in music began early in life; he received his first guitar at the age of 2. He began singing in second grade, when his elementary school music teacher gave him a solo in a school choir performance. He proceeded to perform in virtually every Christmas and PTA program. He also participated in choir and drama programs in middle school and high school. At Blue Springs South High School, he performed in musicals, including The Music Man, West Side Story, and Singin' in the Rain. He had also been an avid baseball player during high school. After losing interest in sports, he focused more on music. He earned a theater scholarship to the University of Central Missouri, but he abandoned theater after two semesters, graduating from the school in 2006 with a degree in graphic design. While in college, he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. After his college graduation, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma to pursue his career in music, telling his family, "I just want to give myself until I'm 26 years old to get a job."

Musical background
Cook was the lead singer and guitarist of the band Axium from 1999 until 2006. He formed Axium in his junior year of high school with drummer Bobby Kerr. One of the band's songs, "Hold," was picked up by AMC Theatres Movie Tunes and was played before previews on over 20,000 screens nationwide. Axium was also named one of the top 15 independent bands in the country in the "Got Milk?" independent band contest, and it was chosen as the best band in Kansas City in 2004.

In 2006, after the breakup of Axium, Cook relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and joined the regional touring band Midwest Kings, playing guitar, bass, and singing backup vocals. He recorded one EP, Incoherent with Desire to Move On, with the band in 2006. He also worked as a bartender at several Tulsa clubs, including Blank Slate and Rehab Lounge.

Cook released a solo independent album, Analog Heart, in 2006, the year he graduated from the college. It was written from 2004 to 2006, and he designed the artwork as well. The album was chosen as the fourth-best CD released in 2006 by website Music Equals Life. Cook also won the Urban Tulsa Weekly's "Absolute Best of Tulsa" award for "Best Locally Produced, Independent Album" in 2007. He had completed recording his sophomore album before his appearance on American Idol. Over the weekend of April 18 to April 20, 2008, Analog Heart was listed as the number one album for "Today's Top MP3 Albums" on Amazon.com. Soon there after, the album was removed from Amazon.

American Idol
Overview
Cook auditioned for American Idol in Omaha, Nebraska, performing Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer." He originally did not plan to try out for the show as he was going on a trip to China; he came to the auditions initially to support his younger brother Andrew (who did not make it to Hollywood) and then decided to try out himself. For his first Hollywood audition, Cook performed "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" by Bryan Adams, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. Later in the week he performed "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain.

Cook has taken advantage of the decision to allow contestants to play musical instruments. Besides his Hollywood audition, he also accompanied himself on electric guitar for his performances of "All Right Now," "Hello," "Day Tripper," "I'm Alive," "Baba O'Riley," "Dare You to Move," and "Dream Big," and on acoustic guitar for "Little Sparrow," "All I Really Need Is You," and "The World I Know." His white, left-handed Gibson Les Paul electric guitar has the letters "AC" on it; as Cook told TV Guide, "I have two brothers, Adam and Andrew. So, because of superstition, I put their initials on everything growing up." Since the Top 12 week, he has also been wearing an orange wristband to support a 7-year-old fan, Lindsey Rose, with leukemia.

"Billie Jean," one of his performances, was highly praised by all three judges, especially Simon Cowell. Cowell later said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the performance "was in a different league to anything we've heard on the season so far," and although he knew where the arrangement came from, "that doesn't really matter." The performance received well over 1 million views on YouTube. Another of Cook's performances, "Day Tripper", was credited to Whitesnake. Seattle-based band Doxology has claimed that Cook's performance of "Eleanor Rigby" was based on a version the band recorded over a year ago. On April 1, before performing his self-arranged rendition of "Little Sparrow" on American Idol, Cook responded to Ryan Seacrest in the interview session, revealing that his performance of "Eleanor Rigby" was based on Neil Zaza's and Doxology's versions. He also reiterated the credits of Whitesnake and Chris Cornell. Despite the controversy, critics praised Cook for choosing versions of songs that fit his vocal style. His arrangements of "Hello," "Little Sparrow," "Always Be My Baby," "All I Really Need Is You," "Baba O'Riley," "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" were original arrangements.

On April 1, 2008, a few hours after American Idol aired, TMZ.com reported that Cook was rushed to the hospital because his "heart was palpitating at a high rate and his blood pressure was high." The website claimed that Cook was not feeling well before the performance of Dolly Parton's "Little Sparrow" that night, but he had refused to go to the emergency room until the end of the show. Stress over a recent "setback" in his brother Adam's struggle with brain cancer may have been a contributing factor. Subsequently, David Cook was released from the hospital and is so far doing fine.

Cook was declared the winner of American Idol season 7 on May 21, 2008, receiving 56% of the votes and beating runner-up David Archuleta by 12 million votes. Cook then sang "The Time of My Life", the winning song of the 2008 American Idol Songwriter's Competition, which will also be Cook's first single. The single is available right now on iTunes. He is the fifth winner to have never been named in the bottom 2 or 3 in votes during his run on the show. He is also the third male winner.

Along with season 2 winner Ruben Studdard, Cook is the second winner to have won the title after performing first during the top two performances. During the finale of season 7 of American Idol, Cook appeared in a commercial for the game franchise Guitar Hero, mimicking Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Fellow finalist David Archuleta also appeared in a separate but similar commercial parodying the same scene.

Post-Idol career
Less than 24 hours following Cook's victory, Cook had the top four selling songs on iTunes, with his debut single "The Time of My Life" at 1. His versions of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", "The World I Know", and "Dream Big" were the other three songs.

R&B singer Carey, 38, obtained a marriage licence with actor and rapper Nick Cannon, 27, in a secret ceremony on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, the New York Post and People magazine both reported.

News of the marriage comes just weeks after the first reports that the pair were seeing each other. Cannon, who has previously appeared as a fictional lover in one of her music videos, is said to have sealed the knot by giving his new wife a large diamond ring worth $2.5 million.

Mariah was seen sporting a diamond ring on her finger last Saturday at New York's Tribeca Film Festival, where she attended the premiere of her new movie, "Tennessee," in which she plays a waitress. Cannon was accompanying her at the time.

Megan Fox - The Sexiest Woman in The World for 2008

Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and model.

Fox's career in modeling and acting began with her winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She began her acting with the film Holiday in the Sun (2001), later appearing in the films Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Crimes of Fashion, and the TV series The Help (all 2004). She is well known for her roles on the television series Hope & Faith (2004) and in the 2007 film Transformers.

Fox was dubbed "the sexiest woman in the world" for 2008 in a non-scientific online poll conducted by the men's magazine FHM.

Career
By age 13, Fox's talent for dance and modelesque beauty created new opportunities for her in the entertainment world. She began acting and modeling upon winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Fox made her film debut in the 2001 film Holiday in the Sun as the spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace and rival of Alex Stewart (Ashley Olsen). She then landed guest appearances on Ocean Ave., What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men and The Help from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, Fox starred in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen alongside Lindsay Lohan. She was subsequently cast in her first recurring role in a television series on Hope & Faith, in which she portrayed Sydney Shanowski from 2004 until 2006.
Fox's big break arrived when she acquired the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in the highly-anticipated 2007 live-action film Transformers, based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name. She played the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character Sam Witwicky. In June 2007, Fox was cast in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, starring alongside Jeff Bridges and Kirsten Dunst. Coincidentally, the character Fox will portray is that of a young Hollywood starlet getting her first taste of fame. The film will be relased in late 2008.

Fox has appeared in a five page spread for the November 2005 issue of the popular men's magazine FHM. She also posed for the March 2007 issue of FHM, the June 2007 issue of GQ, the July 2007 issue of Maxim, and the September 2007 issue of Arena. She was voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM magazine in 2008, beating out Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba.
Fox is represented by The Gersh Agency.
Fox has been rumored to star as Cassie in the comic book film adaptation Hack/Slash. In July 2007, Fox said that she was "really interested" in portraying Cassie in the film adaptation.

Personal life
As of 2007, Fox has been engaged to Brian Austin Green, actor of Beverly Hills, 90210 and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Fox has nine tattoos, which she says she gets when she has "a feeling about anything". They include a poem on her ribcage, a symbol for strength on her neck, her boyfriend Brian's name near her genital region and a picture of Marilyn Monroe's face on her right arm. She also has one on her right shoulder that says "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies," a line from Shakespeare's play King Lear.

Fox has stated she has tried illegal drugs, but says "that's how I know I don't like them," additionally saying she is one of few in Hollywood not using them.
