Despite numerous reports, Angelina Jolie did not give birth last week, which means Jon Voight is not a yet a grandfather again. But that doesn't mean he's not excited for impending grandparenthood.
“The babies haven’t come yet but am I looking forward to it, yes I am,” he told OK! at the MTV Movie Awards.
The Oscar winner, whose daughter will soon deliver twins — her fifth and sixth children with Brad Pitt — says Angie has a lot of parenting ahead of her. "Twins are a definite handful, but Angie can handle it," he says.
“Have you ever taken care of baby twins? It’s a deal isn’t it? It’s a huge deal,” he says. “You’ve just got two kids and if one starts crying then you starting taking that one and then the other one – oh boy, you have to be young and strong to take care of twins.”
The Jolie-Pitt clan just set up home in France, putting them halfway around the world from Jon. Because of father and daughter's strained relationship, the actor has yet to meet any of his grandchildren, but is still hopeful for the future.
“I haven’t spoken to her recently," he says. "I would love to see the kids. Right now I just want those babies to be healthy and for the mommy to be healthy. When they come I’m going to be so excited.” Read more.
