After three months of shunning the limelight, Sandra Bullock has made a storming return to the public eye.
In her first televised appearance since her split from unfaithful husband Jesse James, a smiling and positive Sandra made it clear she was ready to move on with her life.
At the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last night, she jokingly embraced actress .
She then insisted: 'Now that we have done that, can we please go back to normal?'

Stewart and her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson also landed the best kiss award for the second consecutive year.

But the 25-year-old says it's all thanks to the talents of her hair and make-up teams.
'It's all in a day's work for me,' she said. 'Working with these incredible hair and makeup teams, you go in looking like a schmoe, and you come out like a movie star.
'You go through the works, and then you're like this perfectly prepared sausage...no one ever sees what goes in.'

Scarlett, who stars in the upcoming Iron Man 2, was shot by famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for V magazine.
Although she has worked as an actress since childhood, she found fame seven years ago in Lost In Translation.
Scarlett, married to actor Ryan Reynolds, said she now felt ready for more mature roles.

'I'm 25, and for some time I've played these characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women,' she said.
'I don't feel like a girl anymore. And I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been.
'There's a lot of road behind me. I feel at this point I really want to do work that is challenging to me.
'Not to say that I don't look at my job and realize that I'm ridiculously fortunate, and purely an actor for hire.
'You never forget that it's all so vulnerable.'

In an article she has written for an American website the actress expressed her distress at articles saying she had lost a stone.
Scarlett, 24, says she is worried the reports might encourage others to start eating unhealthily.

'I'm someone who has always publicly advocated for a healthy body image and the idea that the media would maintain that I have lost an impossible amount of weight by some sort of "crash diet" or miracle workout is ludicrous,' she wrote in her article for The Huffington Post.
'I  would be absolutely mortified to discover that some 15-year-old girl in Kansas City read one of these "articles" and decided she wasn't going to eat for a couple of weeks so she too could "crash diet" and look like Scarlett Johansson.'

Scarlett says that in her experience the only effective way to lose weight is to exercise and eat healthily, something she has been doing in preparation for her role as as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2.
'There is no magic wand to wave over oneself to look good in a latex catsuit.
'Eating healthy and getting fit is about commitment, determination, consistency and the dedication to self-preservation.
'While I've never been considered a gym rat, I have, in fact, worked up a sweat in the name of cardio before, and although I enjoy a grilled cheese as much as the next person, I combine the not-so-good foods I crave with an all-around balanced diet.'
Scarlett was widely reported to have lost a stone with the help of Gwyneth Paltrow's trainer Tracy Anderson, something she denies.
'If I were to lose 14 pounds, I'd have to part with both arms. And a foot,' she wrote.

American magazine Star says the Lost In Translation star has lost 14lbs - and at last month's Moet & Chandon Tribute To Cinema party in London she was looking decidedly less voluptuous.
In a short, close-fitting black dress, she showed less of her once-ample decolletage and a flatter stomach.

 Scarlett plays the Black Widow in Iron Man 2, in which Gwyneth Paltrow resumes her role as Pepper Potts and Robert Downey Jr and Mickey Rourke also star.
The film is scheduled for release in 2010 and Paltrow has moved her family lock. stock and barrel over to the U.S. to concentrate on filming.
Tracy Anderson has built up a reputation as being personal trainer to the stars, and also counts the super-fit Madonna among her clients.

She's the face of Dolce & Gabbana make-up, and smoulders in the new Christmas campaign, but when it comes to footwear, favours quite a different brand.
The actress, 25, picked up a new pair of shoes by U.S. designer Stuart Weitzman on a visit to Barcelona this week - and liked wearing them so much, she didn't take them off for the rest of the trip.
She was spotted shopping with a male friend on Monday, wearing black high-heeled ankle boots with her black skinny jeans, T-shirt and grey cardigan. She completed the look with a grey trilby and sunglasses - presumably in an attempt not to be recognised.

There have been many remakes of the 1968 song, which itself is said to be based on the poem The Trail's End penned by one of the song's namesakes, Bonnie Parker.
