Here and Now - Nickelback

ickelback with Curb and The State were okay post-grunge albums that didn't set the world on fire, but were listenable despite Chad Kroeger's rangeless vocals that sound like a third rate cross between Kurt Cobain and Sammy Hagar. However, Silver Side Up had the hit How You Remind Me and led them away from their post-grunge roots. Who knows what would have happened if that song wasn't the biggest rock hit of the current century? Would they be closer to a band like Seether? The route they did take was towards hard rock that sounds more like Buckcherry lite. I have
no problem with bands changing sounds because you could end up with AC/DC syndrome where many will accuse you of releasing a photocopy of your biggest hit album over and over again. This is what Nickelback did with Here and Now. It sounds like a mish-mash of songs styles from All the Right Reasons and Dark Horse.

In fact, this leans closer to Kid Rock's Born Free than anything. A couple songs on here feel like contemporary country songs like what happened with the Remember the Heroes approach of When We Stand Together or the still drunk like This Afternoon, but slightly more somber Don't Ever Let It End. Like the two previous albums, this contains songs similar to the horrendous Something in Your Mouth, Burn it to the Ground, and Animals. Songs like Bottoms Up, Midnight Queen, Gotta Get Me Some, and Everything I Wanna Do go this route with the expected lame results. Of course, a Nickelback album isn't complete without corny ballads like Trying Not to Love You and Holding On to Heaven. Also, like the previous two albums, this has a decent song on it that saves this from a 1/2 star rating. Much like Side of a Bullet or Just To Get High before it, the lyrics seem to hint at their earlier songs, which in this case in Lullaby. It's strange that this is the lightest song on the entire album, but it tackles something that the two songs mentioned go to by at least injecting some meaning to their normally lame lyrics that wouldn't be out of place with a bad KISS song from their 70's heyday. I'd take a fair amount of those over the songs on here. Overall, this is just like their past few albums. If you like those albums, knock yourself out, but I think this album is terrible outside of the okay Lullaby.

Best song: Lullaby

Worst songs: Bottoms Up, When We Stand Together, Midnight Queen, Gotta Get Me Some, Everything I Wanna Do

On the border-The Eagles

Cruising down the center of a two way street
Wonder ring who is really in the driver's seat
Minding my bus'ness along comes big brother
Says, Son, you better get on one side or the other.
I'm out on the border, I'm walking the line
Don't you tell me about your law and order
I'm try'ng to change this water to wine.
After a hard day, I'm safe at home
Fooling with my baby on the telephone
Out of nowhere somebody cuts in and

Says, Hmm, you in some trouble boy
 We know where you're been.
 I'm out on the border
I thought this was a private line
Don't you tell me 'bout your law and order
I'm try'ng to change this water to wine
 Never mind your name,
Just give us your number, mm
 Never mind your face,
Just show us your card, mm
And we wanna know whose wing are you under
You better step to the right or we can make it hard
 I'm stuck on the border
All I wanted was some peace of mind
Don't you tell me 'bout your law and order
I'm try'ng to change this water to wine
 On the border
 On the border
 On the border
 On the border
 On the border
Leave me be , I'm just walking this line
 On the border
 On the border
All I wanted was some peace of mind, peace of mind
 I'm out on the border
 On the border
Can't you see I'm tryin to change this water to wine
 I'm out on the border
 On the border
Don't you tell me about your law and order
 I'm out on the border
Sick and tired of all your law and order
 On the border
 Sick and tired of it
 I'm out on the border
 On the border
 Over...

Never Grow Old

I hearing a sad interlude When I saw the  first episode and first season of Alias, the leading lady running wild in the playground to release her tension, then, the interlude rang. So clarion and so sad,I didn't quite catch the meaning of Lyrics, but I am moved deeply. I search for this song on the Internet but I didn’t find .I was a twenty-year-old freshman.
.I have no intention of finding this song after two years, so it's The Cranberries whose representative work Dying in the Sun .
The voice is still smooth, but that sweet  little strawberry has grown! She is sweet big strawberry now.
This classical song has many namesake, such as Bob Dylan’s folk song. Because we all wish we could be forever young.

Never grow old, that’s the best wish.
Never grow old, that’s everybody’s dream. Especially the women.

Strange it may seem

It was my perfect day

Open my eyes

I realize

This is my perfect day

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Do-do-do-do

Birds in the sky

They look so high

This is my perfect day

I feel the breeze

I feel it is

It is my perfect day

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Hope you never grow old

Forever young

I hope you stay

Forever young

Do-do-do-do

Guns N' Roses - November Rain

It has been raining from last night to this afternoon, and November is coming in a few days.

This is one of the most famous songs in the history of Rock & Rolland many teenagers taking up the guitar when they hearing this song all around the world.
In this song which lasts for nine minutesthe greatest solo blew me awayit can shake the world. And the MTV is so cool, that is a feast of Music.

Music is best tool to express one's deep feeling and emotionand most songs are heartbroken. Only the sad songs and poems will go on and on in all ages.
I have fallen in love with Rock & Roll since I listened Guns N' Rosesas same as most Rock & Roll fans.

Here comes the rain!  Let's go out and take a shower.

November Rain by Guns N'Roses
When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you, don't you know I feel the same

'Cause nothin' lasts forever and we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle in the cold November rain

We've been through this such a long long time
Just tryin' to kill the pain, oh yeahh..
But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today
Walking away

If we could take the time to lay it on the line
I could rest my head, just knowin' that you were mine
All mine

So if you want to love me then darlin' don't refrain
Or I'll just end up walkin' in the cold November rain

Do you need some time on your own
Do you need some time all alone
Everybody needs some time on their own
Don't you know you need some time all alone

I know it's hard to keep an open heart
When even friends seem out to harm you
But if you could heal a broken heart
Wouldn't time be out to charm you

Sometimes I need some time on my own
Sometimes I need some time all alone
Everybody needs some time on their own
Don't you know you need some time all alone

And when your fears subside and shadows still remain
I know that you can love me when there's no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness we still can find a way
'Cause nothin' lasts forever even cold November rain

oh...
Don't ya think that you need somebody
Don't ya think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You're not the only one
You're not the only one

Don't ya think that you need somebody
Don't ya think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You're not the only one
You're not the only one

Season in the Sun

In fact, this is an old song, as old as your grandfather. There are some stories behind it, but this song is known for The westlife. The song is too sentimental originally, so it is stale in The westlife. I find the Lyrics, that’s very great as well, I copied it my notebook with neat handwriting. this is my favorite in the popular songs.

But I like  Kurt Cobain’s edition best, he is better suited to this song. Kurt’s despair is in his bone, I can’t forget his despairing look, just like a helpless waif.

Grunge Rock is my favourate music style, and NIRVANA is the typical.

     Lyrics

Goodbye to you my trusted friend

We've known each other since we were nine or ten

Together we've climbed hills and trees

Learned of love and ABC's

Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees

Goodbye my friend it's hard to die

When all the birds are singing in the sky

Now that spring is in the air

Pretty girls are everywhere

Think of me and I'll be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time

Goodbye Papa, please pray for me

I was the black sheep of the family

You tried to teach me right from wrong

Too much wine and too much song

Wonder how I got along

Goodbye papa, it's hard to die

When all the birds are singing in the sky

Now that the spring is in the air

Little children everywhere

When you see them I'll be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

Goodbye Michelle my little one

You gave me love and helped me find the sun

And every time that I was down

You would always come around

And get my feet back on the ground

Goodbye Michelle it's hard to die

When all the birds are singing in the sky

Now that the spring is in the air

With the flowers everywhere

I wish that we could both be there

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun

But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone

All our lives we had fun

We had seasons in the sun

But the stars we could reach

Were just starfish on the beach

Want to learn guitar again

I know I have no gift on this, it is unworthy for me to waste time and money on my hobby. But I have urged more than 3,000 times in just a few years - I had bought an acoustic guitar, a textbook, a tuner, a capo and some strings. Don't mention the chord, I can't sweep guitar strings or twang the guitar strings.

I'm utterly useless, I'm a broken man, I'm a cripple, I'm a piece of shit! Hahahahahahaha~

Brain Damage

The lunatic is on The grass

The lunatic is on The grass

Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs

Got to keep The loonies on The path

The lunatic is in The hall

The lunatics are in my hall

The paper holds Their folded faces to The floor

And every day The paper boy brings more

And if The dam breaks open many years too soon

And if There is no room upon The hill

And if your head explodes with Dark forbodings too

I'll see you on The Dark Side Of The Moon

The lunatic is in my head

The lunatic is in my head

You raise The blade, you make The change

You re-arrange me 'till I'm sane

You lock The door

And throw away The key

There's someone in my head but it's not me.

And if The cloud bursts, thunder in your ear

You shout and no one seems to hear

And if The band you're in starts playing different tunes

I'll see you on The Dark Side Of The Moon

A Rush Of Blood To Th..

You said I'm gonna buy this place and burn it down
I'm gonna put it six feet underground
Said I'm gonna buy this place and watch it fall
Stand here beside me baby in the crumbling walls
Oh I'm gonna buy this place and start a fire
Stand here until I fill all your heart's desires
Because I'm gonna buy this place and see it burn
And do back the things they did to you in return
Said I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war
If you can tell me something worth fighting for
Oh I'm gonna buy this place is what I said
Blame it upon a rush of blood to head
Honey, all the movements we're starting to make
See me crumble and fall on my face
And I know the mistakes that I made
See it all disappear without a trace
And they call as they beckon you on
They say start as you mean to go on
Start as you mean to go on
Said I'm gonna buy this place and see it go
Stand here beside me baby watch the orange glow
Some'll laugh, some just sit and cry
You just sit down then you wonder why
So I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war
If you can tell me something worth fighting for
And I'm gonna buy this place is what I said
Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head
 To the head, oh
Honey, all the movements we're starting to make
See me crumble and fall on my face
And I know the mistakes that I made
See it all disappear without a trace
And they call as they beckon you on
They say start as you mean to go on
As you mean to go on, as you mean to go on
So meet me by the bridge
Oh meet me by the lake
When am I gonna see that pretty face again?
 Meet me on the road
 Meet me where I said
Blame it all upon a rush of blood to the head
 ~~END~~
 Over...
