Former blonde bombshell Scarlett Johansson seems to be very much attached to the dye bottle.
She has tried colouring her hardy locks brunette, flame red, and peroxide blonde. But now it seems that she is giving the much-reviled ginger hair colour a go.
The stunning actress showed off the new shade at the Los Angeles Shorts Festival last night.
Red alert: Scarlett Johansson has tried many shades of red, and now it's the turn of much-maligned ginger, as she showed off the new do in Los Angeles last night
Maybe it's an attempt to popularise the much maligned shade, which has earned its many natural-born wearers years of undeserved abuse.
Or what's more likely, the fashion conscious actress just fancied another change of pace.
It's the latest in a series of stunning transformations for the 23-year-old Lost In Translation actress, who usually favours the blonde bombshell look.
Earlier this month at the launch of her publicity campaign for fashion label Mango, she showed off a deep auburn look.
And in the photos for the campaign itself, she wore a tousled blonde look.
While back in February she unveiled a sultry brunette look at the premiere of film He's Just Not That Into You, completely outshining co-star Jennifer Aniston.
Scarlett was at the film festival to premiere her debut short film These Vagabond Shoes.

According to the LA Shorts Fest website, the film, starring Kevin Bacon, is about 'The tranquility of solitude breaks through the cacophony of the city as a man (Kevin Bacon) makes his way across Manhattan to the sea at Coney Island - witnessing the majesty, magic and wonder of the city and its inhabitants, as they pass him by.'
Scarlett's directorial debut was unceremoniously cut from the ensemble film New York, I Love You.
But sources denied it was because the short is unwatchable -Entertainment Weekly reports that the black-and-white effort, shot on Coney Island, simply did not fit with the other films.
Scarlett is currently filming action movie Iron Man 2. Rumours have swirled that co-star Gwyneth Paltrow's nose is out of joint because she was omitted from the promotional poster in favour of Scarlett.
Scarlett plays a Russian spy, appears in the promotional campaign alongside the film’s other stars, Robert Downey Jr and Mickey Rourke.
