Move over Orlando Bloom: Newcomer Robert Pattinson besieged by hundreds of fans at Twilight premiere

The names  Kristen Stewart   and Robert Pattinson probably don't mean much to British film fans right now.
But that's all set to change with what has been tipped to be the one of the biggest blockbusters of 2008, the vampire romance movie Twilight.
American actress Kristen, 18, and London native Robert, 22, were greeted by hundreds of screaming fans at the British premiere of the big-screen adaptation of best-selling teen novels.

In keeping with the film's Gothic theme, leading man Robert went for a smart black suit, while his co-star Kristen braved the chills in a thigh-skimming mini-dress and killer heels.
Robert has been tipped as the next Orlando Bloom thanks to his dashing good looks and brooding charm.

Big fan base: A crowd of screaming teenage girls waited for hours to see Robert
Robert may look familiar to Harry Potter fans as Cedric Diggory, the prefect of Hufflepuff House, whose life is saved by the boy wizard in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.
Kristen is now unrecognisable from her previous biggest Hollywood role - playing the teenage tomboy daughter of Jodie Foster in the 2002 film Panic Room.
The film, adapted from Stephanie Meyer's 2005 paranormal novel, tells the story of the romance between a human teenage girl Bella Swan (Kristen) and 108-year-old vampire Edward Cullen (Robert).
Meyer's Twilight books have sold over 25million copies worldwide and a further 20million copies in the U.S. and have been translated in 37 languages.
