The film revolves around a group of college students who decide to fund their Spring Break holiday by stealing cash from a restaurant. They eventually land themselves in prison and become involved with a drug dealer while inside.
Although Hudgens broke out of her High School Musical cage with last year’s disappointing Sucker Punch, Gomez has yet to take a risk with her career. It’ll be interesting to see if she’ll develop into a credible film actress, or go the same way as most others in her position.
