The season's most practical must-have? Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson and Natalie Portman all snap up same $185 Denim & Supply parka

Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply label may have only just launched, but it seems its debut collection is already winning some celebrity fans.
The brand's Chino Cotton Field Jacket, a classic parka with a removable faux fur-trimmed hood, has already proved a winner, having been spotted on no less than three A-list names since it hit stores.
Natalie Portman was the latest to be spotted in the must-have item, which retails for a very reasonable $185 in the U.S but in the UK, it is being sold for the slightly less affordable price of £220.

The Oscar-winning new mother was seen in the khaki coat at LAX on Saturday as she arrived to catch a flight with fiance Benjamin Millepied and young son Aleph.

But she was by no means the first. Kristen Stewart was seen wearing hers in London, sans hood, using it to ward off the drizzle and chill between press junkets.
And wore hers for her first day at Oxford University, looking every inch the stylish student as she posed for a photo before lectures.

The Chino Cotton Field Jacket certainly does not look like the typical celebrity must-have - it won't break the bank, and it demonstrates a practical approach to style rather than sartorial flair.

But perhaps it is the low-key nature of the garment that has made it so popular. Indeed the look has long been a festival favourite with the likes of Kate Moss and Alexa Chung.
And with its 'weathered hardware' and oversized utility-style pockets, the Field Jacket certainly fits the bill.
The label's outerwear is not the only thing proving a celebrity hit. Anne Hathaway has also been revealed to be a fan.
The actress, 29, loves her nautical striped boatneck sweater so much, she has been seen wearing it several times - in September she was seen at LAX wearing it with cut-off denim shorts, also by the label.
The celebrity fanbase indicates a promising future for the new label, a less expensive younger sister to Ralph Lauren's existing brands.
Officially launched in August, it was apparently 'born out of the warehouse and artistic communities of Brooklyn.'
And it seems the stars' influence has already had some impact - not only is the Field jacket already sold out on the Denim & Supply U.S. website, Miss Hathaway's top and shorts are nowhere to be seen either.
There's plenty of variations on each theme though - and with a new collection due in a matter of weeks, this new brand is only just getting started.
