Big Brother Day 50: Ziggy 'dated' Scarlett Johansson

Big Brother housemate Ziggy, a model and former boyband member, once had a not-so-hot date with Hollywood star  , according to his pals.
The confident ex-boy bander was hoping to score with the Lost In Translation beauty, but didn't get any further than a peck on the cheek.

Getting Ziggy with it: friends say the male model tried to bag
Ziggy was working as a barman at the time and the confident star soon made her play for the Londoner across the bar.
A friend of Ziggy's tells The Sun, "Ziggy couldn't believe his luck. He was bursting to tell us all that he'd managed to pull Scarlett. Ziggy knew she was coming into the club and he really put the groundwork in with her.
"He laid the charm on thick - he knows how to work the ladies. But even we were shocked that Scarlett fell for it hook, line and sinker.

The friend adds, "Ziggy and Scarlett went out for lunch at trendy Balans in Soho. But when her minder turned up during the meal things went a bit cool.

"They had a good time - but the nearest he got to pulling her was a peck on the cheek as she left. Ziggy and Scarlett swapped emails and phone numbers and kept in touch for a while."
Meanwhile, inside the house, Big Brother asked Nicky to prepare a two minute stand-up comedy routine for other housemates, without telling them it was a task.
Gathering the housemates in the garden, she started by saying: "Let's all have a bit of a laugh.

Party: the housemates get into the spirit for Big Brother's birthday
"Right classic jokes, you know when you had your audition and you had to tell jokes. I've got one. Two men in a pub, one says to the other, my mother-in-law is an angel.
"And his mate replies, 'you're lucky, mine's still alive'."
There was little laughter from housemates and, during Nicky's next joke about a man who takes a moaning ostrich into a pub, Charley Uchea even walked away.
"We'll have to wait now," said Nicky, knowing that she would not pass the secret task if Charley was not there to hear the punchline.
The crowd was getting restless by the time Charley returned but Nicky gamely continued: "So the barman says 'why have you come into the pub with that?' And the man says 'on the way to the pub I met this genie and he told me I had one wish. So I asked for a bird with long legs'."

Nicky's stand up comedy didn't go down well
"I've heard that before," said Brian Belo.
"It's funny dammit," snapped Nicky. "Can't you just laugh at it? My jokes are hilarious."
Everyone eventually laughed and Nicky was later told she had passed the task, earning the housemates a takeaway. Greek housemate Gerry Stergiopoulos, who is facing Nicky in the public vote, later earned them some alcohol by correctly answering questions on grease, Grease and Greece.
