Amy Adams is most likely replacement for Trouble With the Curve

The fight to be Eastwood's co-star in Trouble With the Curve looks to be over, with Amy Adams given an offer...
All week, names have been passed around for the female lead in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming Trouble With the Curve. Once thought to be going to Sandra Bullock, it’s now most likely to be Amy Adams
who features in what will possibly be Eastwood’s last acting role.
Since 2008’s Gran Torino, the acting veteran’s last on-screen job, Eastwood has expressed his overwhelming preference for directing. That just makes Trouble With the Curve an even more exciting prospect, and we can’t think of anyone we’d prefer to feature than Adams.
She will be playing the daughter of an ageing basketball scout (Eastwood) who takes her on one last road trip to check out a young player. While a lot of other names have emerged this week, it’s now been reported that Adams was the only other choice, and has now been offered the role.
The other big career move for Adams was her casting as Lois Lane in Man of Steel, and can soon be seen in The Muppets.
